What is Humankind Zine’s publishing schedule?

Our open call is typically in February, and the digital zine on Issuu is published annually around August/September. If you would rather share your work on our blog, we review submissions year-round.

Will Humankind Zine make physical copies of their zine?

Our team would love to release a physical issue, but we’re not sure when that might happen. We hope one day we get to.

How can I contribute to Humankind Zine?

There are three main ways you can contribute to Humankind Zine: annual digital issue, blog (open year-round), and joining our team. Under “Contribute”, there should be a dropdown menu with pages to those pages mentioned.

Are Humankind Zine team members paid?

Humankind Zine team positions are volunteer, unpaid positions. Our team is mainly made up of people who either work full-time or attend school full-time. We do not generate any income from running this zine.
